Planning for Electronic Home Care Record System Transition

We have paused training and implementation of the new home care mobile app while we work with the vendor to resolve outstanding gaps and ensure it is accurate, stable and aligned with our needs.

What’s next?

As we continue this work, planning is underway for a future transition from the current Procura system to a modernized platform called AlayaCare Cloud.

Procura is the electronic home care record used by multiple stakeholders to manage client information and scheduling. Moving to a new platform will ensure we continue to provide safe, reliable, and efficient care – supported by tools that are modern, mobile-ready, and built to meet our current and future needs.

We are making this change to ensure we have a stable, up-to-date system that can support home care now and in the future. For staff, this means more dependable tools, improved access to information, and smoother workflows to support your day-to-day work.

What does this mean for me?

The transition to AlayaCare Cloud is planned for 2026. This allows us time to communicate early, involve staff through engagement opportunities, and provide the training and resources needed so everyone feels informed and ready before any changes happen.

More information on role-specific impacts will be shared as we move forward with transition planning.
