Communication Techniques & Conflict Resolution

The workplace has become a place in which many of us spend a majority of our time.  We are often required to interact with others in complex and challenging ways, to solve equally challenging problems.  Effective communication skills are essential to prevent misunderstandings and resolve inevitable conflicts. 

Topics to be explored include:

• Barriers to communication
• Healthy and helpful communication skills
• The conflict resolution model

Participants will gain new ways to enhance the potential for being understood and decrease the potential for conflict, as well as ways to resolve conflicts that arise.
