Pediatric Pathologist

Shared Health Inc. and the Department of Pathology, University of Manitoba, invite applications for a permanent full-time Pediatric Pathologist.

Required qualifications:

  • Able to obtain licensure to practice as a pathologist in the Province of Manitoba through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
  • Certification or eligibility to get certification with the Canadian Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in either Anatomical or General Pathology.
  • Subspecialty training or equivalent experience in pediatric pathology, including surgical and autopsy cases.

The successful candidate will be part of a team of surgical and autopsy pathologists providing province-wide services for pediatric surgical pathology cases and stillbirth/perinatal autopsies. Participation in departmental academic activities and training anatomical pathology residents and medical students from the University of Manitoba will be an expectation, as well as working in collaboration with other specialists in a multidisciplinary setting.
