Right care, right place, right time
Earlier this year, a key set of targets were announced to improve patient flow across the Winnipeg Health Region. Patients moving properly within our system are patients who are getting the right care, in the right place, at the right time. And we know when we get this right the quality of care we provide improves, length of stay is reduced, and we end up building a better, stronger, and safer health system overall.
One of the patient flow targets was to reduce the number of less urgent patients arriving at our emergency departments. An awareness campaign was launched called My Right Care to promote alternatives the public can consider to visiting emergency rooms. Click here to read more.
