Goal
By attending this conference, participants will enhance their ability to promote healthy sexuality, harm reduction, and provide appropriate and efficient services for the prevention and management of sexually transmitted and blood borne infections (STBBI) with effective communication and collaboration between disciplines, organizations, and the population served.
Objectives
Upon completion of the conference, participants will be able to:
- Describe and discuss the health and social equity issues that contribute to transmission dynamics and challenges in the prevention and management of STBBI.
- Enhance partnerships and networking opportunities between various disciplines and organizations involved in the management of STBBI in Winnipeg.
- Increase the capacity of clinical and non-clinical health services to address the sexual health needs of preferential populations informed by consultation with populations served.
