What you told us is invaluable. We've gotta start somewhere, and using the information and feedback you offered, we now have a starting point for creating change.
Planning takes time. Leaders around the Region are looking at the complex issues and determining how to create a plan that is in line with current priorities, honours budgetary restraints and still invests in our most valuable resource: our people.

If you're eager to help start creating a more engaged culture, start with yourself and what you can do. Ask yourself how you can create a more fulfilling, respectful and productive workplace. Consider what contribution you can make to improving working relationships or service delivery. Think about what is within your sphere of influence to improve your current working conditions . . . and then look at taking action, step by step.
It's easy to complain but it takes a little more investment to try and make your workplace better. Start by providing feedback to people you're working with - let them know when they're doing good work and say thank you. If there are opportunities to learn together, embrace them instead of avoiding them. |
