Why an employee opinion survey?

What you think matters. We value your opinion and that's why we asked you to tell us what's working and what's not working in your workplace. We wanted to know if you're passionate about your work . . . or not so much.

Why? Because if you're passionate about your work, you're not only more likely to be efficient, healthy and productive, you'll also provide a healthy environment for your colleagues, and the people we care for or serve.

Employee engagement is one of the Region's six strategic priorities (what are the others? Can we link out to them?).

We had reasons we wanted to do the survey. Curious? Here they are - we wanted to:

  • get an idea of where you're at
  • figure out what's working . . . and what's not
  • start an ongoing conversation with you
  • see the big picture while at the same time learning information about different groups and teams
  • know where we are, what's important and what we need to keep in mind when we're planning
