Home Care 50th Anniversary – Share your story

Have you worked in home care at any time during your career?

This year marks the 50th anniversary of home care in Manitoba, and we want to hear directly from you!

We want to highlight the evolution of home care from its launch to today, the importance of home care in the health care system, and the people who have contributed to its success by providing much-needed care for clients throughout the past 50 years.

We invite you to share a short blog post (up to 300 words) about your experience in home care – whether you spent a short time there, or your whole career – how your work makes a difference to those we serve, or any stories or memories that have stuck with you over the years. We also ask that you submit a photo of yourself or your team to go along with your post; please include the names and titles of anyone featured in the photo.

Please submit your draft and photo to communications@wrha.mb.ca by November 29. Selected blogs will be featured on Insite and the WRHA website, giving your colleagues and community a chance to recognize and celebrate the home care program and the incredible work you do.
