How will I access EAP services?

Confidentiality is the most important aspect of your EAP. To access services, you do not have to notify your employer or anyone in your facility. No personal information is released to anyone without your written consent.

You or your family members can call the Blue Cross Employee Assistance Centre 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Someone will be there for you whenever you call. All crisis or emergency situations will be responded to immediately.

When you call, in order to ensure confidentiality, you will be provided with options for your selection of individual counseling/assistance. This may include counseling from the identified EAP counselor in your community or geographical area, from a counselor in another community or area, attendance at one of the EAP offices located in Winnipeg, or at your option, telephone counseling etc.
