Respectful Workplace

  • Respectful Workplace

An interactive online course designed to help staff learn how to recognize and respond to disrespectful behaviours, in accordance with the provincial Respectful Workplace policy.  In “Respectful Workplace: Make the Change Today for a Brighter Tomorrow”, staff learn how to use LEADS to help foster a respectful environment.  In a final section of the module, staff test their knowledge by watching a video and analyzing the scenario!  Please encourage your staff to participate by viewing the module.  It can be found by typing “respect” in the LMS search bar.

  • Respectful Workplace: Managers

The second online module has been designed specifically for leaders.  This module is intended to help leaders better understand their role under the Respectful Workplace policy, while empowering them with the tools they need to enforce this policy.  In this module, you have the opportunity to assess the current work culture in your area and identify areas that need improvement.  Additional sections on conflict resolution and how to handle difficult conversations, as well as useful resources to use with your staff will also prove valuable.  This module can be viewed only after the general staff education module has been completed.  It is available on the LMS and can be found by searching “respect” in the search bar.
