We need your help

As a manager, you have an important role to play in helping the Winnipeg Health Region understand how we're doing with employee engagement. The AON Hewitt survey will give us a chance to realize what we're doing well, the areas we have to improve and what you want to see in your workplace.

We need you to distribute the team-specific paper and online versions of the survey to your team members. You will receive instructions and resources from your site's contact.

In many cases, your employees will need your support in carving out time during the day to complete the survey. Please help arrange for each employee to have time and/or access to a computer to provide their feedback during work hours to help encourage participation.

Mark these important dates on your calendar

• October 1st: Survey launches. Distribute the survey via paper and/or email.
• Week of October 6th: Remind your employees to take the survey
• Friday, October 17th: The deadline to complete the paper survey. Remember to tell your employees that responses must be received by 4:00 pm in the survey collection boxes at your facility or ask them to mail them.
• Week of October 20th: Remind your employees there are only two weeks left to take the survey online.
• Week of October 27th: Remind your employees this is the last week to take the survey online. Responses must be received by October 31st.
• October 31st: Deadline to complete the survey online.

To make your job easier, we've prepared email messages for you to send to your employees. Please feel free to use them to help encourage participation.
