Join us during National Addictions Awareness Week for a special Harm Reduction Learning Series, designed to equip healthcare providers with essential knowledge and practical strategies on harm reduction.
Why Harm Reduction?
Harm reduction is a best practice in caring for people who use substances, focusing on minimizing harm while respecting individual choices. These practices help ensure our care environment is safer and more supportive for patients, residents, and clients.
Who Should Attend?
All WRHA staff, as well as partner staff from Community Health Agencies, Personal Care Homes, and Shared Health/HSC, are encouraged to participate in these virtual sessions. You’ll gain insights into key harm reduction strategies and their application in healthcare settings.
