Emergency Paramedics in the Community (EPIC)

Program Features:

operated by Winnipeg Fire & Paramedic Service, and staffed by paramedics
provides early health assessments & intervention planning to Winnipeg patients who are identified as top users of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Emergency Department Services
operate two teams
connection with HIV patients

individuals who frequently access Emergency Services
individuals who would have an at-risk referral from EMS when they arrive on scene
