Francophonie Month
Les Rendez-vous de la Francophonie (RVF) is part of the cultural events surrounding the International Day of Francophonie (March 20), organized each year to promote the French language and its many expressions across Canada. Hundreds of activities will be taking place across Canada: multicultural gatherings, shows, film screenings, contests, educational activities. All presented in innovative ways.

Francophonie Month Activities
Week 1
February 28th – De chants et de batailles video and quiz – you have 3 weeks to watch the video and complete the quiz to be entered for your chance to win a grand prize. Deadline is March 22 to have submitted your quiz. A certificate of completion will be shared with you and sent to your workplace manager for your personnel file – this in recognition of your efforts and commitment to the Francophone community in Manitoba.
This 45-minute video with English subtitles will send you back in time enacting the story of some of the defining moments in Manitoba's French history, as well as bringing to the forefront some of the great pillars of Manitoba's heritage. The play helps you understand the significance of French in Manitoba, its evolution and its importance.
