  • Early nutrition therapy may decrease disease severity, decrease complications, reduce length of stay in the ICU and decrease mortality.
  • The Critical Care RD (Registered Dietitian) network has developed nutrition documents for regional practice to aide in the delivery of feeding ICU patients.
