Process Sheets for Translation of Copyrighted Documents
WRHA French Language Services in consultation with WRHA Legal Services has developed a series of Process Sheets that must be followed any time a translation of a document the WRHA did not solely author is requested.
Adherence to these processes ensures the WRHA is in compliance with the Copyright Act Canada, and grants copyright from the translator to the WRHA of the translated documents.
It is the responsibility of the requesting program to ensure the appropriate Process Sheet is followed.
