Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) Members at Large

The Winnipeg Health Region Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) advises the regional Board of Directors on policy related to patient/resident/client care issues. PAC provides a forum for discussion of interprofessional issues, and action related to clinical practice, education, research and leadership. Members of PAC provide leadership and monitor patient safety initiatives, consider standards and scope of practice issues and promote evidence informed practice within the Winnipeg Health Region.

The Committee is comprised of appointees from the Allied Health and Nursing Leadership Councils, the Medical Advisory Committee, the Long Term Care Leadership Council and the Medication Quality & Safety Committee. In addition, six members at large from various professional disciplines also participate on the committee.
