Ingrid Manoosingh
Specialized Mental Health Leader, PACT Hargrave
Ingrid Manoosingh has been a nurse since 1990, beginning her career in acute care at Health Sciences Centre and later transitioning to the community – first as a service coordinator with PACT from 2002 to 2014, and more recently as the team lead for PACT Leila. Since 2020, Ingrid has been the Team Lead with PACT Hargrave. In this time, Ingrid has demonstrated her commitment to the WRHA, the mental health program and to the individuals and families who access our services. Throughout Ingrid’s career, she has demonstrated her dedication to the principles of recovery and since being in formal leadership roles has mentored her staff to pursue excellence in fulfilling the vision of the PACT model. Ingrid is also a lifelong learner who ensures her staff maintain their own continuing competence to meet the evolving need of the individuals they serve in an evidence-informed way and in adherence to WRHA policy and related guiding documents.
Over the last year, Ingrid has further demonstrated her dedication to PACT participants, their families and the staff she leads during the COVID-19 pandemic. While community resources were moving to essential services and issues of access were increasingly recognized for vulnerable groups – including those who live with severe and persistent mental illness – Ingrid remained abreast of all aspects of COVID management and was active in raising issues to leadership that threatened the health and wellbeing of PACT staff and the individuals they serve. Ingrid works tirelessly within her team and collaboratively across the system with internal and external partners to seek solutions to issues raised pre-COVID and those which have surfaced during the pandemic.
