We’d love to hear about and support the initiatives underway to recognize our nurses.

All Week

Deer Lodge Centre
We have asked Nurses across the campus to submit answers to several “why” questions. Responses received will be displayed on monitors on Main St. for our staff, patients/residents, visitors and volunteers to read throughout the week.
Deer Lodge Centre
Nursing Practice Council at the site have worked to ensure nursing week posters, a large banner celebrating the week and a poster display board with all nurses represented is showcased on our Main St. at the Centre. The council also contributed to the design of a tote bag that will be presented to all nurses at the Centre.
Pan Am Clinic
Nursing trivia – Questions will be asked from a pool of nursing related trivia, a correct answer allows the selection of a “punch card” that may have a small treat or extra tickets for the gift card draw at the end of the week (gift cards sponsored by Pan am clinic Foundation). All nurses on staff are registered for the gift card draw, but extra entries increase the chance of a big prize! A great way to have fun with nursing facts from around the region and through nursing history, as well as bring people together!
Seven Oaks General Hospital
We will have an information booth set up in the lobby from May 6-10 to highlight nursing week, along with a prize package that can be won by playing Plinko and answering a skill testing questions.

Riverview Health Centre
Meet Your CRN – The Clinical Resource Nurse role is new to many units at Riverview. CRNs will be hosting a Meet and Greet and will be providing information about how the CRN supports the clinical team. A tea and coffee service will be available for all shifts.
