Jamie - HSC Adult Emergency Department

Even though our hospital has undergone many changes these last few years, the team dynamic in emergency department (ED) is truly outstanding. Watching everyone come together and perform their tasks to help someone is what that brings me back to work each day.

I love nursing in the ED because I'm constantly learning, it provides opportunities to learn something new each day.

Nursing in an ED provides a fast paced environment and no day is the same. Nursing provides the opportunity to help others, provide comfort, educate and advocate for patients and their families.
